Hello! I've had a 1981 XS400SH for 2 years, and just burned out the low beam filament.

Does anyone know where I can get a bulb the correct size? It seems most are designed for 7" lamps and mine is 6.5.

Thank you!

Jude

The Candlepower replacement is an excellent choice if you want to keep the original headlight. Night vision is dramatically improved and the beam pattern is superior to the original lamp. I recommend a Sylvania SulverStar Ultra H4 bulb and switching out your tail/stop bulbs to LED versions to reduce strain on the charging system. It's a great combination. With the LEDs, your headlight no longer dims when the brakes are applied.
