Alright, aftermarket incandescent turn signals. 10W, 12V bulbs on all four signals.

Where should I begin with resistors to get my relay to flash?

What at you really tying to do?

Plenty of write ups, incandscents is what its designed for. So it should be fine. Easy in other words, but has the PO done before you?

The oem signals were removed by a PO. I ordered some aftermarket signals online and they have 10 watt, 12V bulbs in them. I'm trying to get an idea of what sort of resistance I should begin with when wiring it into the system.

I am under the impression that an LED flasher is only good for LED bulbs which I am not using. 21 W is for 1157 (1156?) bulbs correct? The bulbs in these signals are neither of those.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Have you tried hooking them up an running them as is? The relay needs a amperage to actuate. Your 40 W (10w x 4) may be enough.

The reason for LED flashers is they simply actuate at a lower amperage. Whether or not the Bulbs are LED doesn't matter to the relay.
