Thank God I solved that. I really need a bike, gas is killing me and I live out in the Styx!
Got to watch corrosion in the fuse box. Had I given it more than a couple cursory glances I may have saved myself much frustration.
Oh well, better to feel like a fool who wasted time chasing his tail but now with a fixed bike than angry and stumped any day of the week!
