Rubber plug in float bowl??

76' xs360 with bs34's

Should there be a rubber plug anywhere in the float bowl, covering the pilot??

Anyone have a pic or link to part?

Yes, there is a plug covering the pilot. Have you downloaded the manuals from this site? There are diagrams which detail every component.

If you have the stock xs360 carbs then no. They should look like the bs38's

Yep they where the 77-79 bs34's have a brass screw in plug but yours are completely different.

Thx. I'll post some pics of mine soon. I have something screwy going on with my idle circuit. It's pig rich and will run with fuel screws all the way in.

I think there is an o-ring on the screw have you checked to see how they are? Which one does yours look like? I think turning these out on this model makes them leaner. Side mount screws are not the same as top mount ones from what I can remember.

Don't think the "o" ring was used until '80 or '81.

No o ring. It's a fuel screw. Pointy screws meter fuel while the blunt tip ones meter air.
