Smoke from breather

So I put pod filters on my bike and put a half inch breather filter on the spot that had the breather tube that went to the intake tubes. Now there is smoke comin from the filter. If the engine has some blowby that's fine with me, I was just wondering if anyone else has run into this.

I haven't, but I was wondering if it is possible that your oil is a little overfilled.

The oil level is good and clean

We've had a little smoke from the breather filter on our bike from time to time also. Mostly right after changing the oil .... seemed to clear up after a few days.

Its normal with old bikes.
