Like a lot of people I'm going kick only and have removed the starter motor. What are you using to blank off the hole left by the starter motor?

If enough members are needing a blanking plate maybe we could get a batch fabricated?

Also, if you remove the starter motor how do you fasten the starter motor cover? This has had me scratching my head (not difficult ).

Thanks...

don't really need to blank the starter hole unless you want to junk the top cover!

you could make a couple of stand offs for it, a larger version of motherboard mounts. or you can do what i did and butcher the starter and keep the ally ends to fit the cover

this from a picture here expensive but stainless and great if it fits

You could cut a piece of aluminum or steel and bolt it on using the bolt holes that held in the starter. but don't forget to cover the hole where the starter shaft went through the motor
