So I'm taking the carbs apart to clean them before putting them back on my 78. They are filthy, probably weren't even cleaned by the previous owner. The pictures are what it looked like under the float seat and how much junk came out of just those from both carbs. While I'm soaking the needle jets to try to remove them, I also took the air jets out. Little did I know, I wasn't supposed to do that! I kept them, but I decided to look for replacements anyway, and I probably won't have any luck. I was on the cmsnl website
http://www.cmsnl.com/yamaha-xs400-2e-1978_model8665/partslist/C-01.html#results
and it said the jet is a #170, but I've seen different things on here from #155 and #160. I've found a few sites that sell a #170 pilot air jet, but the part number doesn't match up. I'm prepared to use the old ones, but these carbs are nasty and if I can find the parts to replace them I would rather do that. Anybody have any or know where I can find them?
