XS400 Addict
So I picked this bike up last Friday because I'm fixing my other one and I wanted something to ride in the meantime. After driving it all week I really didn't feel comfortable on it at speeds above 45 cause you sit so damn high on it. So after telling myself I wasn't going to touch this one I broke down and took the plunge. Brought it in the garage last night at 8 and had her ready to go by 12:30.
I wanted a lower seat but didn't feel like building a new battery box and starting a whole mother project so I just "body dropped" the seat location and build new shock mounts. Then built a seat pan and salvaged the foam from the orig seat, then used some material I had to cover it.
All in all I've got $0 dollars and about 5hrs into it.
