Well i got bored and decided to change the exhaust up a bit. Taking off the old stuff almost all together with alot of chopping and grinding/welding. Have part of it done but have alot more to go.
Not sure if i want to get them coated with something again or just wrap them with white heat wrap.
What do you guys think so far have more work and more pictures to come.

aw man, i would have got a pipe bent for that. this will keep those lovely sweeping lines you created.

bet they sound sound sick though. keep it up

Yeah I am a little disappointed I tried using a tubing roller but you can only get so tight of a bend from it. This was my first time doing a different exhaust and first real project i used the welder on so it was an all around learning experience I do plan to make it better.
It sounds pretty awesome and still has the baffles in right now. I had got it finished went on a short ride, pulled into the grocery store and set off an alarm or three made my day. I'll have to make a video and see how it sounds and maybe post it.

I have those mufflers and I repacked them with moose racing fiberglass; sounds crazy and I was not even able to rev past 3 grand haha.

I read the inspection criteria for NH here and they only mention intensity of sound as a point for rejection, but usually antiques are exempt from many tests. I'll find out soon enough.

ours only apply via the age of the vehicle, so a 1930 flat-tank would have virtualy no brakes, no indicators and smoke like cigarette man on the X files!

up to 1980ish no BS marking needed on the exhaust/indicators/lights

Well I have finished the exhaust took it back off cut it up and I think it looks better.
