Theres a guy on here thats fitted gs500 headers I think, he didnt go into to much detail but I think he needed extra copper gaskets to space them off the head or something. Search around you might find the thread

I was considering a Triumph scrambler style high exhaust, I'm not sure how hard fitting one would be. Good luck on your build m8!
