Hello all, hope you are all well!
I have the chance to buy a 1983 sei900.I think they are cool and different.
This particular one however was in a accident in 1994 and has sat ever since.
Is it worth it to make an offer? How much work/time/ money will i have to invest. Family friend who is very flexible on price and payment but is it worth it?
I dont have a tremendous amount of skill or experience but also I dont want to pass on a classic bike/opportunity. Let me know what you guys think.

If you know benelli sei 900 (Drewpy?...anyone?) please advise.Parts,availability,cost,ect.ect.
What would be a fair market value on this(owner is a family friend w/newbaby needs $$$).
Bike is knackered but is it worth it to me?

not for a newb unless you've got a deep wallet probably hard to find parts and more $$$ might be better to part it out, check ebay to see what parts are going for... cool bikes tho'

Wow! That looks like the bomb! :D just did a little google and ask friends
On facespace! Looks kinda bad on the parts! I would have bought it anyway,
Got to much space, and to few bikes!

borderline, you'd have to love the bike to repair/replace stuff.

did you get the scanned articles I sent you ages ago?

the sei engine is basically a Honda cb550 with 2 extra cyls on. It could be done but would take years to a decent standard.

if you have the time and money, you can do anything.

I would if I could but reality bites :guns:

personally, i would do my own interpretation so to avoid the expense of finding NOS stuff.
