trying to experiment with a wrinkle/hammertone finish on an extra set of pipes that I own and was wondering if anyone knew how hot these babies get. The only wrinke finish stuff high heat ready to go is 350 degrees and I have a feeling the pipes get a lot hotter then that?

The mufflers probably get up to just under 500 F. I have heard of plenty of people using 500 F paint successfully, but never something as low as a 350 F paint.

im using header paint but its not wrinkle its just flat black but i think its rated at about a thousand degrees maybe less

I remove the chains and padlocks before sleep, but that zipper mask stays on!

Hot enough to do this :yikes: ( that was from about a nano-second brush up against the pipe while checking the air pressure in my tire)

You know, sometimes, when I see pictures like that, I realize that England doesn't have a monopoly on really, really white people.

Welcome to Washington State (and British Columbia...)

Apparently less white with one patch at a time (or burn) :)
