Will 1983 Seca Carbs work on a 1980 Special II ?

Wondering if the stock carbs from a 1983 xs400 Seca are compatible with my 1980 Special II?

Nope, different spacing. I think drewpy made a set fit but he had to make a bunch of changes to them. There is a bunch of sohc xs400 sets on ebay now for sale.

yea I converted a set, but only because they were brand new and I got them very very cheap.

need to make a small bracket for ther top spacer, the bottom you can use as is with a little filing of the the holes.

turn a new inter-link petrol pipe and think of someway to extend the linkage between the butterfly valves!
