XS 400.... 450??

Hi, I'm a noob to the XS400, I just purchased a 1981 XS400 but on the side it says 450?
I don't know how it can be? Can someone help me out with this??

Somebody has probaly changed the side covers.Look at your title it will tell you what you have.

Maybe the one who changed the side covers also put in some big bore kit.

To be sure you will have to open the engine...
