i have a junk xs400 sitting outside waiting to be picked apart. i bought it as a parts bike for my 650 not knowing most of the parts wouldnt work. the shift lever is gone i have the gas tank with no key and no petcock, it has a dent and in fair shape, i have the carbs but waiting on somebody to get back to me on them. same with the blinkers. there is no seat, handle bars, tci box, rectifire, and probly other electrics are missing. i have the air boxes but no crossover for them. the starter hasnt worked since ive had the bike. the rear fender is munched, the front one is a little wrinkled. engine turns ill do a compression check to see what is at upon request. pretty much if you need a frame, forks, or wheel cheap thats whats left. if the guy that wanted the carbs dont come through they will be for sale also. have the title

What kind of shape are the forks in? What year is the bike?

the forks are in ok shape the seals need to be changed. one is cracked the other is shot ill try to put a picture if them up. the bike is an 80.

Seals needing replacement is not a problem. How about rust in the travel area? From the tiny shot of them above they look quite shiny.

yea they aint very rusty i would put better pictures on but the only camera i have is on my phone try downloading it to your computer then try the picture out
