XS400J, BS34, carb rebuild kit???

Carbs keep acting up sometimes, so Im hoping I can rebuild them, but with all my googling powers I still can't locate a rebuild kit. Mike from MikesXS couldn't help me either

Anyone got any leads??

Most of the rebuild kits out there are universal, meaning they come with alot of stuff you cant use/dont need to fit a wider variety of carbs. You would probably be better off just buying what you need seperate.

A lot of careful cleaning may avoid the need to by parts at all. Just replace what's broken or worn out.

The only part you may need to replace are the float bowl gaskets, if your careful on disassembly they can be reused. Once torn down and all the parts clean, inspect them for wear. I doubt you need to replace much, just a good cleaning does wonders.
This was written with the XS650 carbs in mind but the XS400 carbs are very simular.

A very good read, all the basics are there. The tuning is spot on for most any carb.
