Hi

I've bought a Yamaha sr125 spoked front wheel from the local autojumble yesterday, despite it only being 17" seems to fit the spindle really well, If I decide to use it i'll have to make a spacer I think?. Question is, how do I measure the gap accurately to make the wheel sit true to make the spacer? the XS speedo hub seems to fit too, Is there anything else I'll need to account for? I'll try it with the caliper when I shake off this man flu!:banghead:

wheel looks pretty central to me.

Have you tried the standard spacer? it could fit.

If you need to move the caliper, the disk would be the main choice for moving. do a mock up using ply wood.

Easy to profile and get the gaps right all round.

Thanks Drewpy

The spacer from the original wheel seems to fit nicely but can't check the caliper.... cos I can't find it:doh: I'll post more when it turns up.

Now to get hold a really cheap SR125 rear wheel, any one tried one?
