Yamaha xs360/400 front wheel speed counter

Hello, im having a problem with my bike (i have bought it not full and some parts is not from this bike..) so: when i add the speed counter ( or hot this thing is called ) it have no fixing point (on the fork is a litlle pin for fixing point but on the silver part is no groove for it.. so maybe somebody can help me with fixing this?

That don't look like a xs360/400 hub to me. Also the speedo drive is the wrong one. I would find a stock one that fits as the one you have may be the wrong ratio.

yes , i just found that the wheels are from cb400

Looks like it might be right for those wheels.
Is there a brass ring that fits between the hub and speed counter? I believe it's needed for alignment.
A Google image search for "cb400 speedometer drive" should show examples.

Yes there is this ring. i only need now to figure out how to fix this speed counter in one possiotion. maybe somw ideas?
