You ever have one of those days.....

Started my day working on my Civic. Found a cracked valve. Found a place in Baltimore that has Honda heads for 200.00 rebuilt. So I thought my day was going pretty good. I figured I still have time left in the day so let me go work on the bike. I mounted the seat and welded the tube in that will hole the front bracket. Went to the back of the bike and noticed it was off so I twisted the seat a little and BANG, the gas tank hit the metal pile and then the floor. Put a nice big gouge in 1 side and caved in the opposite side. Some days I shouldn't touch the bike. Lesson learned, bolt the damn gas tank down. Time to go shopping for a tank......again.

oh dear, I had a similar mishap, knocked over a friends minarelli engine and cracked the cyl head cover.

Once I was grabbing a trash bag from a roll that was poorly mounted to the ceiling of my dads garage. My brothers bike was underneath it... landed square on the fuel tank. That was fun to sort out, given their relationship.
