Man, I had all of my wiring issues licked. I then decided to simplify the mess, and now my lights don't work. I'm trying to figure out where I went wrong. I removed the right switch (run/off/run) wiring, and all of the turn signal stuff. My bike is just a kicker. I'm running a head & taillight...

this is my xs400,i just finished it...the forks,wheels and neck are from a 1969 triumph t100r,lower frame and engine are from a 1978 xs400,rear section of frame is a 1953 bmw r25/2.hand made controls,bars,seat pan and alot of other things,:bike:and here is a pic of my 1980 xs650 i built(copper)...

well found out that Ive got a 80' xs400G special 2, what does the G designate? am finding it difficult to find a manual also, and am I seeing things clearly this thing appears to be a dohc? 1rarebru:confused:

Hello everyone. My name is Peter. I have owned my 81 XS400 Heritage Special since May 2009. It had about 3500km on it at the time, but had been sitting for about 14 years. It was in very good condition overall, but had been dumped mildly and had a few dents and dings. That did not matter...

im planning on hardtailing my 400 and since its got that double backbone, i cant use a normal universal kit, and PSW is expensive. so who has pictures and explanations of ways to do it? whether it be a plate or going right to the to tubes where the swing arm mounts, im open to anything and even...
