Hey all, iv just been working on my '81s carburetor and the last thing on my list is to adjust all the screws. So iv already got the two mixing screws out three turns, since from what ive been reading thats a good place to start. I'm just not sure of what to do with these screws (the ones in the pictures). Does anyone know how they should be adjusted?

Pic #1 is of the butterfly valve adjustment screws. It is what changes the rate at which each carb's valve opens and closes relative to the other. The act of changing these screws is how the carbs are 'sychronized' with each other. If the bike was running pretty good when you started your maintenance, then they synchronization is probably just fine (so don't mess with it!)

Pic #2 looks like the adjustment screw for the increase/decrease of idle speed. A warmed up engine should idle at about 1200 rpm with the choke off. Adjust it accordingly.
