Are ('81) disk and drum forks interchangable?

Hey gents,

Just took apart my front end to install clip-ons and noticed my right front fork is bent where it clamps to the lower tree. I put it up against a straight edge and it deviates about an inch at the bottom of the fork . I have another '81 with disk and mags, so I was thinking I would just swap out the right side fork with the bent one (provided it's straight...).

Will this work? I know the caliper mount will be a bit of an eyesore. I may also just replace the stanchion with a straight one.

Just replace the tube.

some stanchions are longer than others.
My 2A2 model (european) has the short ones whereas the "custom" models with the stepped seats have the longer ones.

They will interchange though as I used them on my Tracker.
