Carb Holders (Does year matter?)

I have a '77 XS400 and need new carb holders. I found some that say they are for a 1978 - 1981 model. Does anyone know if they will work on mine?

dohc holders won't fit the sohc bikes and vice versa

Just outta curiosity what's the difference between dohc and sohc? Also, do you know of anywhere I can find some carb holders? I can't find them for my year on bikebandit, partsnmore, yamahasportsplaza or ebay lol. I wish the ones I linked worked because they were only $35 and not $50 haha

its got the same size wheels and says Yamaha on the side

there's loads around can't see a problem
