Carb popping

Hey guys got a carb/mixture issue on my 81 xs400/H. Was running ok two weeks ago pretty close on the colortune. Now the right side sends a popp out the carb and goes super lean on the color tune. Left seems to be running but slightly weaker and a bit cold. New gas, carbs were super clean two weeks ago and pulled them apart today for a quick spray. Any thoughts? Tried searching the topic but didn't find my exact issue.

Have you tryed adjusting the mixture?Also check for vacume leaks around the manifolds.

No leaks the boots are new as are the diaphragms. Like I said the mixture is ok just runs a little rich at high throttle.

Have you adjusted the valves, adjusted the idle mixture and synced the carbs? A lean mixture is the usual cause. Leaking intake valves and ignition problems are also possible causes.
