Could someone please verify what I am seeing in this picture. The silver coming from the top of the hole is the rocker arm, the nut is the adjuster locknut and on top where it looks like a flat head screw driver goes is the adjuster screw? (Sorry the picture is rotated)
Alright, thanks! yeah I am planning on adjusting them I just didn't want to touch anything without knowing what I was looking at for sure. I have read the service instructions and through this thread as well as others so I believe I have at least an idea of what I'm doing.
Just make sure when you turn the engine over to tdc make sure your wrench doesn't slip back at all.It will give you an inaccurate adjustment if this happens.
And make sure that lock nut is tight. a year after I got my bike running, and all that, two of those nuts came loose, and I could figure out where my oil leak was coming from. (I am the worse case scenario) Good luck!
