compatible piston set

Hi there, im new here, but it does not matter i guess
Im wondering whether some pistons are interchangable between models/model codes respectively. According to thist thread (post #12 http://www.xs400.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4458 ), the 2A2 and 2LO (and also 2G5, 2V6... stops with secas) has the same engine internals, which means the same pistons and rings?

All sohc xs400 has/use the same pistons.

Do you think those holes for valves are the same size and angle? And the same size and position of the piston pins? Can i get any piston with the same bore and height or this one is just prooven one that fits?

I talked to the guy that drew them up and had them manufactured. They are exact replacements. He said the photo just makes them look different due to the way the dome is cut. They are forged, not cast like stock. He did give me the weight, and they are a few grams heavier than stock of equal bore.

Just keep in mind he only has 2 sizes.
