Freeze plug /starter hole

Has anyone used a freeze plug to block starter hole.I used a 1.83 freeze plug shaved it a little with grinding wheel and drove it in the starter hole. When i update my build thread pics will be there.

whats a freeze plug?

does it melt in the warmth?

is it hairy, do you have to shave it regulary?

and when you drove it in the starter hole could you open the doors to get out?

ha ha ha . No seriosly automotive freeze plug for engine blocks incase h20 freezes they pop out. If all you ever owned was air cooled bikes it would be new to somebody. : )

That's a great idea! i was trying to figure out a way to plug that. i was gonna machine a plug at school, but this is a way better idea!thanks!

we (us Brits) just call them cylinder block plugs
