Starter that won't STOP

Here's a good one...

My starter won't STOP. As long as the battery is connected, the starter turns over. Doesn't matter if the ignition is set to 'off' and the kill switch off as well. It'll keep turning over.

I figure it's the starter relay but I haven't really dug into it yet as I had to leave for work.

Anyone with an idea?

starter relay only activates with 12v. Its possible that the solinoid has stuck in the closed position. i'd test for 12v supply with everything off. (there shouldn't be one)

Yeah, solinoid being stuck makes a lot of sense actually. I'll give it a go this evening. Thanks

Yup, it was the solinoid. Kickstart only for now until the new one comes in. Thanks Drewpy
