Stator question and regulator rectifier question

1980 400 XS. Ohms at .6 for all three stator wires. Good? Go to regulator next for charging problem? Are regulator and rectifier the same?
Is the regulator/rectifier if combined, the harness with the one black and one red and three white wires ?

I'd download the Haynes manual first. It's in one of the manuals threads at the top of the Garage. Decent photos and test procedures for everything you're doing.

Lots of information and photos in past forum threads too.
The TCI, rectifier, and regulator are all attached to the battery box.
The stator and field coil leads come out under the left side sprocket cover. The connectors where you would do your tests connect to the wiring harness up in front of the battery box.

The cover over the left cylinder is for the ignition pickup coil.

The photos attached are from one of the Yamaha service manuals (forgot which one) and will help.
