so basicly today I made an account on xs400.de and made my first post and looked around on teir website a little, and I can tell you: They have a pretty good technical FAQ which can be found here: http://xs400.net/wb/pages/technik-faq.php
it is in german but it has some good pictures.

Aparantly even kenny Robberts used to ride them

I think Kenny Roberts only sat on the Cup-bike for the foto. The XS400 Cup was a german race series for young drivers. It is still there but it is called R6-Cup today.
