Hey guys, so I recently put some clip ons on my 400 2E and I am having some problems with the throttle cable. I cannot get the cable routed in a way that will keep the revs from jumping up.In most of the positions I have tried, if I moved it left and right (Steering and touching just the black cable), up, down, toward the carbs, or away from the carbs it revved up. I am pretty sure if I think about moving it in a direction hard enough, it revs up... it is very sensitive to movement. I have found one position in which it works really well when I turn the steering, but it will not hold an idle. I tried turning the idle up with the idle adjustment screw and the engine started acting up, sticking rpm and a combination of backfiring and missing. Any ideas would be appreciated :banghead:
