what is a torque arm bolt?

The chain tension guide says when adjusting the models that have drum brakes, one should also loosen the "torque arm bolt" is this the bolt that tightens the drum brake action??

My guess is the brake stay arm is what they are talking about. Post a pic of the page your looking at.
loosen both ends before chain adjustment. Check your chain tension while bike is on the ground and you sitting on it. The amount of slack and spot to check is in the manual.
