Question though is this: 2 days ago I put on my carbs and then gas tank and then was setting valves and I look down to see a specialized-looking nut laying flat on my crank case top left side. Right where The oil fill cap would go - but other side. Yes it looks like a brake adjustment thumb dial - but it is not - it is smaller diameter (size of a dime) and center hole is like a bb size.
Am guessing extra parts are a bad thing. Can anyone tell me what this is? Been thru the parts manual but too small to id. Thanks!
