Will the 1980 XS 400 SG wheel damper 1U4-25364-00-00 fit the 1979 RD 400 wheel 2A2-W2533-20-00

I think it does, but you can can them from HVC cycle anyway and save the trauma

Thanks, I checked HVC web site and they do not list any for the 79'. The ones I see for earlier models are 2 piece with the stud not part of the assembly. I am going to order the ones for the XS because the microfish shows them as one piece. I cannot get anyone to measure them for me to see if they will fit.
