Hey guys, I'm wanting to replace the carbs on my 400 project. I'm thinking mikuni vm's but have been hearing different things. I thought most people go with the 34's but I had it running pretty well on some vm32s from my mates cj360 and he thinks going with a set of 30's would be even better.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers

im wondering the same question, i got some mikuni vm 34s for my 650 but im going a different route for it so was just going to throw the 34s on my 400, but was curious how it runs and jetting as well. (not trying to hijack a thread haha)

Ive got vm30s on at the moment, havent taken it for a proper ride as its still In pieces getting the charging system sorted. But it starts first kick and revs out well on my starting tune. Search vm30 and youll probably come across the thread with my specs in it, cant remember them off the top of my head

I went with the 32s in the end. It runs a bit rich and only fires on the left hand cylinder at high revs
