Need to know if these will work... locating dual sports to fit the 3.00-18 and 120-90-16 has been a pita.

For the rear:

For the front: (would a rear tire be alright and would a 110 width work?)

Will tubed tires work alright? I have mag wheels on the bike. That's the bulk (of the small range of possibilities) of what I'm finding.

If you guys have found another solution let me know.. this is bumming me out!

Awesome! Did you run a tube inside? Also, what sizes are you running front and rear?

Thanks!

no tubes, the front is a 110, the rear is a duro knockoff of the tw40 in a 130. they sure are chunky, but still roll nicely on the street:wink2:

Nice, I think I'll go with the tw40 being that it's currently on sale for cheaper than the duro!

The tires don't matter, the wheels are what define whether you run tubeless or not. From everything I've read, 1980+ wheels are the ones that have "Suitable for tubeless" stamped into the casting on one of the spokes. Unless the wheel says it's tubeless approved, I'd say it's a gamble to run without a tube.

You can run tubeless tires with a tube. The difference is the design of the lip of the wheels. The tubeless rim (on the right) has a big recess to lock the bead in place. The non-tubeless wheel (on the left) is smooth and also has a smoother/rounder drop center to support the tube.
