XS or XJ?

I have a xs400 and love it. but also just picked up a 4-cly xj 650. what were the differences in xs and xj models?

Well to start...there's the 2 extra cylinders...and the 250ccs.

They are two completely different bikes. I would prefer the xs much easier to work on.

I understand the difference in bikes and cc's I was more curious as to what is different between the xs line and the xj line.?

The 650 and 750 XJ's are shaft drive. The 550 is chain drive. I actually like the XJ's. They are fast and smooth... but ugly!

Thought you guy's were talking about xj600 but just google'd xj550 & xj650 and there completely different....in style anyway, the engine is probalble the same. XJ600 is a power house, I took one all the way to Mongolia and it never missed a beat.
