Any update on the shirts?

I've noticed that it's easier to kick-start when it's on the center stand. I just stand on the pegs and kick. That way, I'm putting all of my weight on it without the shocks absorbing the kick.

To be honest, I rarely use the starter when the engine is cold. With the new battery, the bike fires to life with one or two kicks. :D

I'm not sure. I know that the kick-start works GREAT on my bike now if the electric start doesn't start it right away. If you have the room for it, I'd say go for the 8-cell. It's small and light; easy to tuck away and hide if you want to. It's a solid battery with no liquid inside at all...

You will not be disappointed. I was VERY skeptical, but it performed as advertised, and it is so much lighter than the old lead-acid batt.

Thanks. I work in Space Command. Where I'm stationed now I am pretty much a desk-jockey, however my next assignment will let me travel often. Not to mention I'll be stationed in Colorado Springs when I'm stateside. I'll have to learn how to snowboard.

What do you use as a filler? I'd like to do the same to smooth out the sides of my tank.

I'm experiencing a similar issue. Does it matter what kind of lube is used? I have lithium grease, but I've heard liquid silicon would work better. Thoughts?
