    Thanks Chris for your input. Call me stupid - is the hole at bottom of pilot jet supposed to be clear or sealed? The top hole & 6 side holes all now clear but I dont want to try clear the bottom one if its supposed to be sealed.

    This maybe a stupid question but as the silencers both have a bit of corrosion near the rear end what would happen if I cut say 3 or 4 inches off the pipe ? Would that affect performance or make the bike too noisey or can you just not do it?
