I ended up getting this out but it installs from the outside of the cover btw....

Mine came with aftermarket shocks with adapter/extenders. I bought a set of ohlins and the bushing is too small. I’m using the adapters but looks a little high??? I ordered a pair of generic 12mm ones to try though

does anyone know what the eyelet size is on the lower rear shock mount? I thought I saw somewhere it was 12mm but not sure. I have a new pair of shocks that has the wrong bushing size in the lower mount and want to order the correct size. Hopefully only once...

Does it come out the front?

I picked up a spare side clutch cover and was wanting to remove the oil site glass before I bring it to the powder coaters. It seems to be in there pretty well, any ideas on how to get out? I'm most likely going to order a new one so not super concerned if this one gets damaged.

Has anyone found an Ohlins rear shock with a reservoir that fits or can be made to fit the XS400? I really like the look of them but not wanting to go with the cheaper imitations if at all possible. Sorry if this has been discussed before but I couldn't find anything on it.
