Where have you folks purchased your sprockets??? Im having a helluva time finding front sprockets, especially 17t ones. I need both plus a new chain, for an '80 sohc.

I wanna take the xs on a longer trip. 700-800 miles over two days, I know its a lot. For those of you who have done this, how did you prep your bike? What are some things that in retrospect you would have done differently? Did anything go wrong on your journey? Thanks.

Maybe you didnt cut far enough and got some of the baffle from the mufflers??? Just a guess. When i swapped mufflers I did not notice an inner pipe.

Ive got a single napoleon on the left. I always turn my head but that mirror is indispensable for seeing whos coming up on you. I feel kinda naked without it.

Go for it! The 550 is gonna be a might bossier than the xs and if you plan on riding a lot you may not want to do it all on yer hardtail... Plus, you'll have a chop and a cafe, Im jealous already. :thumbsup:

Ive seen 13inch eye to eye shocks. You could also consider dropping the front end an inch or so, however you may want to consider getting stiffer springs and a heavier fork oil.
