    Self-made hook rod for seat pan

    So...gotta nice seat for my '81 XS400. However, it never came with the hook rod needed to latch the seat into place. Any ideas on a DIY rod? Or at least a place to buy a new one? I can't seem to find one anywhere online. Thanks! Sam

    Starter works intermittently?

    After putting my bike back together, I realized that my electric starter wasn't working correctly. I can get it to go (sometimes), but other times it just does the "click" like it's a dead battery. The battery is brand new, terminals are all in good shape, so what's going on? Thanks Sam
