I just picked up someone's abandoned project.. 1980 (blue ) 5000 mi and 1981(red) 11,000 mi... rolling chassis all parts present and accounted for.. good rubber.. good tanks... blue is original ... the guy was gonna make one café outta them and never got that far!!! I will be dragging them home...

Well I have a 1981 xs400 H special II and I am not havin very good luck finding a tire to match the vintage... I have found a few tires in the right size... 120/90/16 but not the right look... any suggestions??

I just found this cool helmet at a thrift store... anybody know anything about it from the markings on the back?? the inside says... "this helmet meets z-90 1-1966 NY approved" cool as hell if you asked me!!!

Hi my name is Mike and I recently scored my 1981 400 xs H special ll... i really got lucky it runs and rides great and came with cool sidebags.. i need to redo both front and rear drum breaks and get new rear rubber... I plan on keepin it pretty stock aside from some pipes! Any helpfull hints...
