Hi guys What kind of speeds do you guys get at what rpm? My xs will go 120km/h (+-72mph) at +-8500rpm. I read that some people claim that their xs top speed is around 100mph. Are they able to reach such speeds and is mine therefore not tuned correctly? I cant see my xs reaching 100mph.

My xs400 has 2 into 2 'sport' exhausts on and I was wondering if I created more back pressure, would it run richer? I have a little lean issue. The carbs are all stock jets. Would a free flow exhaust cause this and can I fix it with added back pressure?

Im fed up!! Bought new carb intake boots. Cleaned carb. Set timing. And still 8000rpm at idle. :banghead: Please help?!:shrug: Only other problem is that my spark plug (right side) is leaking a tiny bit of air. :confused:

Hi guys I bought a xs400 and realized that the threads of the right side spark plug was stripped. The PO re-tapped the hole and made an insert(not heli coil). Now the threads are stripped and I am sure that air is leaking from the plug. How do I fix that or prevent the air from escaping? Loctite?

Hi guys This is my first post. My problem is... one of my carbs pilot screw head is stripped. How do I remove it? I need to clean the circuit and cant access the passages. Any advice will be appreciated.
