    1981 XS400SE ignition (condensers?)

    I've picked up my new bike (1981 XS400SE) and I'm trying to plan for the re-wire. In the Haynes manual I'm looking at the wiring diagram for an XS400SE (4G5) and I can see condensers but I was under the impression that post 81' bikes had TCI units and not condensers? Did this model not get...

    Hey all, Pamco electronic ignition with e-advance just arrived! I'm wondering what kind of timing light I should buy? - new to this - Preferably on the cheap, but good enough to set this puppy up and get to rippin' Cheers

    Anyone know if Pamco Pete i still around? I bought the electronic ignition for xs400 from his website and emailed him both on this forum and on the email he provides on his website and have heard nothing back. Just wondering if I should contact Paypal to cancel and seek a solution elsewhere...
