'79 petcock brass part snapped off

Firstly thanks for a wonderful resource for the XS400. It has helped me a a lot with my 1979 XS400 that has not run for over 10 years .

The brass nipple that hangs down from the bottom of the petcock has snapped off and needs to be replaced - shown at the top of the attached pic.
Can these be bought seperately? I really dont want to buy an entire petcock. Any ideas would be most appreciated.

You could try a hardware store. Just screw off the rest of it a find a brass hose fitting with the same size threads.

JB weld it ,that's what used when mine broke off has worked for 2 years now.
