Picked up this 79 XS 400 for 200$ was planning on just restoring it but saw a couple of bobbers on the internet and thought it would be cool. pics to come.
pretty rough shape. had been sitting in a barn for 18 years before the previous owner bought it.
he only managed to remove the carbs before deciding that it was too much to handle for him.
first things first, remove everything. strip it down to the rusty frame do some grinding then do a temp paint job to keep the rust away.
