Hey there just want to say beautiful build ! im looking to solidify my hard tail i made similar idea the bar works pretty solid , i just need to weld the back frame up to the swing arm this winter ..but my question is i want to pod the carbs and lose that hideously big air box.. i was wondering what jets you ended up with so the bike runs smooth ?

I bought this bike for $500, it seemed to run fine......i didnt even have a 'learners license' . it appears to be bone stock 1982 xs400j maxim, Tom selleck, Burt Reynolds or even Prince came to mind looking at this thing in its stock form.

Looks rad. Just got a 400 maxim, wanna do the same thing. Might have some questions for ya! Love it!!!
