I want to go to a better flowing and more importantly louder muffler. Not obnoxious, just a reminder to other motorists that I'm there. Im assuming anything that isnt stock will require the carbs to be jetted, which is ok because Im also going to use a cone filter to clean the bike up a bit. It doesnt need to be a bolt on affair as Im a fairly decent welder, I just want to know what people have that sounds good.

Yea i heard the 2 into 1 and I hate the look and sound. Im also not a fan of straight pipes, sounds a bit too honda ricey to me.

I've Dunstall replica's on my bike. At first I had short megatons but they were way too loud. Keep in mind that when you're running podfilters, the intake noise will be a lot more.
First vid: short megatons (neighbours yell at me and give me the finger:
Second vid: Dunstall replica's. (neighbours wave friendly and give me kookies and beer)

Here's a link to my topic at the Dutch Motor Forum, see the difference :)

bump of an old thread since I'm gonna try this on my spare exhaust didn't want to make a new thread. How do you detach the headers from the muffler?
