I am having trouble getting the air box out of my Yamaha xs400. Is there a Specal way to get it out?

Had to remove the swingarm to take mine off

SOHC isn't that bad. My XS360 pops out the top without too much trouble.
My 400 is easier to drop it down and out the side.

I am not exactly sure. My profile pic is of my bike.
Looks like a DOHC so you may need to pull the swing arm like Jeff said.
I think I may have had one on a parts bike I got and it popped right out on the SOHC motor.
